Sharon - Travel the Amazon
Are you doing a community development type project? What are springboxes? Does that have to do with clean water for a community? I read through some of the previous posts but couldn't figure out. Anyway, much success on your trip and your project!
Hi Sharon,
Thanks so much for commenting!
Instead of answering your questions here, though, I suggest you watch the video about our project. It answers all of your questions plus much more.
The website is:

Once you get there, click "watch in high quality" right below the video.
Thank you very much for your interest in our group. Do you know someone from the group? If not, I'm very curious how you found out about us; it's really great to have some outside interest!
Thanks again!
I watched the video. Thanks for the link. I found your website by using Google Alerts related to my keyword choice "travel to the Amazon." (I just discovered this strategy for getting backlinks to my site.) I found your project interesting since we have lived in Brasil most of our adult lives. We know very well the challenges of life in the Amazon and especially having a safe water source. That challenge isn't limited to the rural communities by any means. Even the well in our backyard was/is so contaminated that it was only safe to use if something was going to be boiled for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Life was so much more complicated there. Anyway, I wish you great success again in your efforts to help the community of Assis.
its great to see people finding out more about this project!
yeah, it makes me proud!
